Constance Holden, RN, MSN holds a graduate degree in oncology nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2014, she retired from Boulder Community Health where she served as the Director of Oncology Services and the Chair of the
Palliative Care Program. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee and Ethics Consultation team at that same institution. She has worked at 6 hospitals and 4 hospice programs in staff and leadership positions. Holden is a member of the Community Advisory Board of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Colorado. In 2013, She and Jean Abbott, developed The Conversation Project in Boulder County, modeled after the national project started by Boston Globe columnist, Ellen Goodman.
